State Of Play(2009) -Can a thriller get any better-

Today I'm not gonna give you a latest movie but you should not miss this as it is almost the best a thriller can get.  When watching some movies specially at the end we just think back what the hell just happened here.This is one of those intriguing type of movies.I found this when I was looking down Russel Crowe and I guess most of u have missed this and thats why I thought of giving you. But let me tell you this is not a movie to miss and certainly one of the best thrillers I've watched. Its loaded with some of the great names in the Hollywood movie industry. I hope theres no need of me to introduce Russel Crowe as he is one of the Legends out there is Cal McAffrey the journalist. Guess you have watched the famous 'Notebook' and you will surely know of the beauty, Rachel McAdams and she's Della Frye.

Knight And Day (2010)

Do u like Tom Cruise or Cameron Diaz? I guess its 'yes' as they are legends in the Hollywood film industry. The latest movie with both of them is "Knight and Day". From movies like Mission Impossible we all remember Tom Cruise as an action hero and yet again he proves his abilities even when he's in his middle age.
This isn't an action movie alone but a comedy as well.Some says its a better comdey than the one I recently gave with Kevin James "The Grown Ups".And once again the Cameron Diaz has done a great job as well.
Enough with the stars, back to the movie now....

The story briefly goes like this..June Havens ( Diaz) finds her everyday life tangled with that of a secret agent Miller( Cruise) who has realized he isn't supposed to survive his latest mission. As their campaign to stay alive stretches across the globe, they soon learn that all they can count on is each other.
As most of the viewers say its one of the greatly entertaining flickers of the summer with not only the action and adventure but also with the romance and fun.

Today I'm going to give a latest movie out there and it might not be unfamiliar to most of you. Predator was one of the most famous movies in 1990's starring with Arnold Schwarzenegger.Now its time for another hit.This time Predators features Adrian Brody as Royce,Tropher Grace as Edwin and Alice Braga as Isabelle and many more to come like Lawrence Fishburne.
The brief summary of the story goes on like this...

Kara’s memory is fuzzy and her control over her newfound super powers is tenuous, so under Batman and Wonder Woman’s (Susan Eisenberg) insistence, Superman delivers Kara to Amazon Island to be tutored by Wonder Woman and her sisters.

Law Abiding Citizen(2009) -Justice is his Vengeance-

Citizen begins with Clyde and his family gets under attack of two thugs inwhich he loses the 

family that he loves greatly.After a plea bargain sets one of his family's killers free the frustrated Clyde orchestrates a series of violence that are not clearly physical but all wits. It grips the so called law of a whole city and that challenges Nick as the district attorney and the thrill of it comes when Clyde does all this when he's already behind the bars. 

Gerard Butler was originally set to play Nick Rice until Jamie Foxx called the producers and asked if Butler would like to play Clyde Shelton instead, as he liked the role of Nick. When the producers approached Butler about playing Clyde, he thought about it for a second and reportedly said "Jamie as Nick... and me as Clyde? That would be awesome!"

Though it contains some violence it appeal us to think twice about the justice system and its fairness to victims.I am not going to tell you any more as its a 108 minute masterpiece that you'll never forget once you witnessed. Imdb- 7.2/10 and now its only one click away from you..:)

Get Him To Greek (2010) -Arriving This Summer (Hopefully)-

I was skeptical about “Get Him to the Greek” from the outset for a couple of reasons: It’s a spin-off of “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” which I pretty much hated, and the one-note premise about a bumbling young music exec (Jonah Hill) struggling to get burnt-out rock star Aldous Snow (Russell Brand, reprising his “Marshall” character) to L.A.‘s Greek Theatre within a small window of time sounds like a simple excuse for endless

sophomoric humor. And for a little while, that’s exactly what it is. At a certain point, however, Hill’s eyes look like they’re about to bulge right out of his head, and the movie’s satiric edge takes on a sudden inspired lunacy. When Hill and Brand show up in Las Vegas so the musician can reconcile with his deadbeat dad (Colm Meaney), Hill’s boss (Puff Daddy, firing crazy on all cylinders) enters the picture convinced that they can party Aldous into submission. This establishes a near-brilliant comic set-piece in which virtually every drug comes into play, as do firearms and pyrotechnics, with the breathless excitement of cast and crew working together in the service of a unified spoof. “Now this is what the music business is all about!” P. Diddy declares as the room blazes behind him. Talk about an indictment.

The rest of the movie comes nowhere near the utter delight of the Vegas sequence, although the late-in-the-game sexual gags are unexpectedly odd in a mostly positive way, as if they stumbled into the picture from a decent Kevin Smith movie. 

But “Greek” is basically worth the price of admission for the mayhem that transpires somewhere near the end of the second act. For a moment there, I felt as though I was watching Martin and Lewis in their prime, or perhaps the contemporary version of the sarcasm expressed in the opening segment of “Sullivan’s Travels” (click to see). And that means there might be more potential for the kind of modern studio comedies that many of us wrote off a long time ago. Forget Sarah Marshall; this is the good stuff.

Imdb 6.9/10 and I suggest you that you'll not be disappointed after watching a nice comedy after sometime.Enjoy!

Machete (2010) -He was given an offer he couldn't refuse..-

Today I give you a super hot movie with superstars,Machete. It was released earlier this month and talking about the cast, actresses like Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, we know from Fast and Furious and Avatar and the pretty Lindsay Lohan who contributes to this movie away from her usual romantic play and in a much action based manner to entertain us in this box office record breaking product.

Danny Trejo stars in the movie as Machete and there are whole bunch of superstars in it including Robert De Niro and  Steven Seagal.Machete the film, much like the trailer, is a series of over the top, giggle inducing, hyper-violent set pieces, strung together at a brisk pace by a convoluted, overly melodramatic plot.

There is a crazed, redneck, illegal immigrant hating Senator (Robert DeNiro ACTUALLY seeming to have fun for a change) and his insidious, power mad aide (the brilliant Jeff Fahey.) There is a sociopathic drug lord with a penchant for decapitating his enemies (a surprisingly amazing Steven Seagal.) A rather good, but underused Lindsay Lohan dressed as a gun-toting nun. Cheech Marin, stealing scenes as always, as a deadly, foul mouthed priest. And the incomparably awe inspiring (yet also underused) Don Johnson as a sly, cigar chomping vigilante, just to name a few of the interesting faces and characters that move the whole film along.

All that should be incentive enough to make you want to see the film. But really, in the end, if you're a fan of old school,  Charles Bronson style, over the top 70's revenge/action flicks,Machete is for you. It's a gloriously tongue in cheek exercise in B-Film entertainment. It has enough blood letting, boobs and bad assery for 10 Movies and it flies along at such a brisk clip you wont even care that it all doesn't make a lick of sense.

The story begins with an intro into the Red army and its soldiers who face the risk of death by both camps. Then the talent of Vassili as a shooter is revealed and then he gets transferred to the sniper division. As the story continues it beautifully displays the battle of the two great snipers Vassili and Major Kornig and lets us to be in a dilemma as to who will win the battle finally.Thats up to you to find out.
I think its my duty to talk few words of Vassili.As the Stalingrad battle became mare tense it was the snipers who did the best job.And it is calculated that the bullets fired by his rifle has taken more than 220 German lives at the end. As this is based on real characters, Vassili Zaitsev's rifle is still safely intact in a Russian Museum.

For those who think its only action in here you are wrong.Its a complete movie where Tania plays her part so well and adds a bit more than a touch of romance to the movie.

Robin Hood (2010) -"Rise and RIse Again, Until Lambs Become Lions"-

Today I present you a marvelous, breathtaking piece of art that takes our memories to the 19th century. Robin hood is not another movie but undoubtedly had preserved its magnificent legendary characteristics that we all remember and cherish from the TV series.The locations in the movie are mind-blowingly similar and actually makes us feel that we are in that time.

Directed by Ridley Scott,Robin Hood features Cate Blanchett as Marion Loxley and the hollywood legend Russell Crowe as Robin Longstide or Robin Hood. Russel Crowe has yet again done the magic and has plyed a role not even second to his character in Gladiator. As for many others he is one of my favourite all time actors.
Back to the movie again, the story begins with Robin with King Richard's army as an ordinary archer.Later the king gets killed and Robin and few of his mates leave, then the accidentally meet Sir Robert Loxley whos about to die by Godfrey. This is a specail moment for Robin as he receives something that will change his entire life and the ordinary archer becomes and extraordinary warrior who saves England as the movie continues.Though the end is bit sad its a great movie that you can watch without any  delay from beginning to end.

IMDB ratings 6.9/10.its yours to watch and enjoy again and again :)

Just to hedge his bets, however, he brings on lots more bodies in the form of muscle-bound fighting and weapons experts who go against ridiculous odds to get the bad guys. Blade specialist Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), hand-to-hand combat specialist Yin Yang (Jet Li), demolitions expert Toll Road (Randy Couture), long-barrel weapons specialist Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), and the hulking precision sniper Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren) help Barney on his seemingly suicidal mission.

Death At a Funeral(2010) - This is one sad family-

Today I'm going to bring you a film that can make laugh till you cramp. It has got some classic actors in it as well. If u can remember "The Wicker Man" this is from the same director, Neil LaBute. Keith David, Danny Glover, Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence.... all of them has done a great job in the movie. Its one of the classic comedy movies but disappointingly it hasn't been that much popular that I should say.

Chris Rock is Aaron and his famous but bankrupt brother is a novelist and he gets all the attention exceeding Aaron. The funeral is at Aaron's house and all the relatives are visiting there after sometime.

From the begining its like chaos everything going wrong - the funeral home delivers the wrong body; a cousin gives her fiancé a Valium from her brother's apartment, not knowing her brother is dealing drugs - it's LSD and the fiancé arrives at the funeral wildly stoned.

Ryan( Aarons brother) flies in from New York broke, but arrogant; one uncle is angry over his daughter's choice of boyfriends, and the other is cranky and coarse. Add an ovulating wife, a jealous ex-boyfriend, and a short stranger who wants a word with Aaron - what could he want? Would another death solve Aaron's problems? And what about the eulogy?

Its not complete if I shouldn't say the story has a good flow from the begining to the end. All the parts of the main story are attached well. SO its not something that you want to laugh but can't ,but its something that'll really make you hilarious. I'm not going to tell anymore you can download and watch.. :)

Inception (2010) -Your mind is the scene of the crime-

First of all I'm sorry for taking a long time to give you this.Its because of the difficulty in finding a good copy.At last I found one thats ok to watch.So today at last I'm bringing you the most awaited movie, Christopher Nolan's the Inception. It has already won the heart of millions worldwide and so much have have already described it as the movie of the century. Why it became so special? Lets find out.

Personally I wouldn't loved it more as it has my favorite actor Leonardo DiCaprio. I think he's the most realistic and wide ranged actor in hollywood. Now those who like others do not get angry with me ok :)

If I introduce you a little to the movie it goes like this..,

Corporate espionage. Cobb can invade people's dreams, so corporations hire him to steal business secrets from rivals' subconscious.
